Day 267 ~ Recreate a famous work of art using the material of your choice. + Day 268 ~ Use sand as your medium.

The Scream ~ done on a 6" sanding disc. I experimented with different media and found that water soluble oil pastels and watercolor worked best. Also used some ink and acrylic paint. What didn't work was colored pencil.

Always interesting to copy another piece of artwork. I noticed how exclusive Munch's palette is in this painting, and the way he used the direction of the paint strokes to move the viewer's eye.
